The EURO currency was introduced in 2002. Jürgenson has added to the existing symbols on the banknotes images of specific popular McDonald’s products, thus ‘celebrating’ a United Europe. An additional iconic twist was the replacement of the stars with red hearts.

The Good and the Bad was curated by Berlin based MAIS. It was a part of The 2nd Liverpool Biennial’s. A catalogue was produced to document the exhibited works.
